Conversion To Hot Wax

This course is for anyone who wishes to be a better waxer in general. You will receive your online theory access via email where you will learn everything you need to know about hygiene, contraindications, skin types, possible outcomes, application of the wax and much much more!

Then you will join us for a half day in person practical session where you will be learning how to wax all of the main areas that hot wax is more suited too, such as the nostrils, face, brows, bikini line and underarm.

If you are a confident waxer with hot wax and want to refresh your knowledge with the theory of hot waxing, click the button below and you can purchase the online theory alone without the hands on practical day.

Our online theory modules includes tutorial videos for standard bikini, facial and underarm waxing with hot wax. We would always recommend the hands-on element of our training, however if you are an experienced waxer but just need to refresh your hot wax knowledge – then this is a great option.

You will be working on each other, so make sure you have left your hair for at least 3-4 weeks.

Come in uniform or suitable clothing to carry out waxing treatments. We aren’t fussy or particular and care more about the attitude you turn up with than the clothes you wear. Come with an open mind and ready to learn.

What to expect

During and after training

Our day will run from 9am – 4pm with half an hour for lunch.

The day will be fun, but there will be a lot to take in. You will have workbooks; however, it is always worth bringing a notepad or laptop/iPad etc. for any additional note taking.

There will be theory about everything you need to know and plenty of time for practical, too. You will be working on each other, so be prepared to bare all. Remember though, this course is all about how you can be the best. You cannot be the best if you haven’t even experienced the treatments yourself!

We would love for all of our students to complete the domestic abuse training online. This is really important to us, however we understand that it can sometimes be too close to home for some, so it isn’t compulsory. If you do complete the training, please print or save the certificate and either email it to us, or bring it with you on your training.

Mooeys Masters has a group on Facebook and we really encourage you to join it, as it is the best way to keep up to date with things, but it is also a place for therapists to support each other.
